Custom Built Cells & Systems To develop a custom system, Capital Robotics and the customer define and create an overview of the process. This plan is reviewed by Capital engineers as a team to refine and formalize the system’s design. Capital completes the engineering work and design process, including software models and control integration between the various processes. A critical factor in the success of custom cells is the synchronization of the welding operations with the cycle time, production and quality requirements/expectations of the customer. Capital Robotics then offers a complete solution to meet these requirements. As a system integrator, Capital Robotics staff has over 40 years of combined experience with primary focus on MIG and TIG welding applications, material handling, material removal, polishing and grinding, resistance welding, plasma cutting, and robotic tending of machine tools (brakes and presses). Capital Robotics provides complete custom design build services including mechanical and electrical design and engineering, PLC and weld processing, robot programming, cell fabrication, electrical and safety systems. Systems integration encompasses weld processing, lasers for welding, cutting and marking, vision and tracking systems, servo drives, robotics, controller and interfaces from a long list of the world’s leading manufacturers in each field. In addition to providing new cells and systems, Capital Robotics works with customers to update and upgrade their existing equipment to maximize quality and productivity in a cost effective manner.
Pheriphels Capital Robotics supplies weld positioning equipment such as head and tailstocks, welding turntables and multi-axis positioners that manipulate the part for precise and controlled weld positioning. We design specialized positioners that improve the versatility and extend the range of robotic arc welding systems.
Our positioners are highly accurate and designed to be used with robots. Positioner controls are compatible and controllable by the robot controller resulting in simultaneous coordinated motion of several axis while welding when required. All cells are designed with a safety system to assure that the operators are not only protected from the movement of the robot, but also the arc flash as well.
